Production on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes begins in Sydney’s Disney Studios Australia

Disney Studios Australia, which was formerly known as Fox Studios Australia and is located in Sydney, New South Wales, has started production on the newest film in the Planet of the Apes franchise, which is titled Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. This film is being produced by Disney Studios Australia, which was formerly known as Fox Studios Australia. The most recent entry in the Planet of the Apes film series is this particular movie.

The plot of the film, which is being promoted as a brand-new chapter in the Apes saga, begins some years after the events of the most recent Apes film, War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), came to a close. The script was written by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison, in that order of responsibility. Wes Ball is the one in charge of directing this production.

The “Made In NSW” project of Screen NSW will provide an additional $17 million AUD ($10 million) in finance for the film as part of the production deal. It is predicted that more than 400 local employment would be created as a direct result of the movie, which will also make a contribution of $128 million AUD ($80 million) to the economy of Australia.

During a press conference to promote the project, Tony Burke, Australia’s minister for the arts, made the following statement: “It will be filmed here, and it says a fantastic thing about jobs and creativity in Australia.” Planet of the Apes

The Planet of the Apes film franchise is one of the most well-known and long-lasting ones created by 20th Century Studios, and it has grossed more than $1.7 billion at box offices all over the world. After being adapted from a novel written by Pierre Boulle and being released in 1968 by the studio that was then known as 20th Century Fox, the first film in the series went on to become one of the most commercially successful pictures of that year. Following it, there were two television shows and four films that continued the story in some way. Tim Burton helmed and oversaw the production of the first Planet of the Apes picture, which was released in the year 2001. After that, there were two more films in the series, titled Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes, before the franchise was brought back to life in 2011 with the release of Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver, and Jason Reed are the film’s producers. Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are serving as the film’s executive producers.

The President of 20th Century Studios, Steve Asbell, was quoted as saying in a statement that was released to announce the production, “We’re happy to be in Sydney filming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes at the world-class Disney Studios Australia.” Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is currently in production. Due to the fact that it is one of the most well-known and acclaimed science fiction franchises in the annals of film history, Planet of the Apes will forever be tied to the production companies that were responsible for its creation. Along with the rest of the cast and crew, the brilliant filmmaker Wes Ball is continuing the series’ tradition of producing cinema that is inventive and thought-provoking. This heritage has been established by the series. In the year 2024, audiences will be treated to the presentation of the following chapter, and we cannot wait!
